Personal
Jo Kort was born and raised in Northern California. She attended The San Francisco School of Travel in 1983 to pursue a career in the travel industry. This was a great year for her, as it was when she met and married her husband of 20 years . . . all in the same year!
During her travels in the late 80's, Jo contracted Hepatitis A and as a result, was left with severe anemia and a sluggish metabolism. As a result of this health challenge, Jo experienced a personal health awakening which led to a continued journey into health, and a new career!
During the past 16 years Jo has sought for answers to health questions through her passion for learning about health products. She also developed an in-home business that gave her an avenue to sell products to health care practitioners. She later pursued an education in Nutrition to enhance her skills and to include Nutritional Consulting and Colon Hydrotherapy.
When not working, Jo loves to travel and some of her favorite places for relaxation are the islands of Kauai and Maui in Hawaii. She also enjoys yoga, golfing, hiking, gardening, healthy cuisine, juicing, and spending time with her two Chihuahuas and her cat.
Jo takes a personal, informal and caring approach in her health practice, Transitions. She gets great joy out of seeing people happy and rejuvenated!
The "bottom” line: it takes a special kind of person to be in this business. Jo's sense of humor is unique in a profession most would avoid!
